Velkommen til Sportsfyssen

Sportsfyssen is a private clinic for physiotherapy and training located centrally in Østerbro, at Østerbrogade 19, 1.th. above the specialist store Marathonsport. We offer physiotherapy, massage, acupuncture, injury treatment and rehabilitation after sports and work injuries as well as course evenings. We specialize in treating exercisers, but we also see quite a few elite athletes. We would very much like to help anyone who needs treatment, advice and guidance.

We are a private clinic, therefore you cannot get subsidies from the public health insurance. You therefore do not need to have a referral from the doctor to receive treatment. Sportsfyssen is open for treatments every weekday from 7.00 – 19.00 and weekends by appointment.

Sportsfyssen is a private clinic that is outside the public health insurance, therefore you do not need a referral from your doctor and you cannot therefore receive public health insurance subsidies. If you are a member of Denmark, you can receive subsidies for the treatment, according to current rules.

Note no subsidy is provided for acupuncture and shock wave treatment. Per 1/1 2024 Health Insurance Denmark pays DKK 140 for first treatment and DKK 90 for normal treatments for groups 1, 2 and 5. Payment is made after each treatment, unless otherwise agreed. Sportsfyssen naturally takes Dankort. We do not accept cash.
